Ernest

Ernest is a 2-year-old gray and white lady of impeccable manners and quiet charm. Calm and observant, she enters a room with the grace of someone who knows she doesn’t need to be loud to be noticed. While her brother may demand the spotlight, Ernest waits patiently for her turn—then approaches an open hand, gently rolls onto her back, and invites belly rubs. And no, it’s not a trap. A proper lady, after all, keeps her word.

Affectionate in a refined, intentional way, Ernest prefers smaller, meaningful moments of connection. She warms up quickly, adores ear rubs, and shows her fondness by softly rubbing up against her people—and even resident cats. She’s also dog-friendly, slightly suspicious at first, but polite - as she should be.

Sweet, gentle, and emotionally steady, Ernest enjoys playtime (especially Da Bird, much like Felix) but will steal your heart without ever making a fuss about it. She doesn’t demand attention—she earns it, quietly and completely.

Ernest (gray & white, female) and Felix (orange, male) are a bonded pair who have officially decided that people are their thing now. They started life warehouse-side, were TNR’d, ear-tipped, and supposed to be “working cats”… but nobody told them that plan. After nearly a month in foster care, it’s clear they want couches, hands, routines, and affection—with each other as their emotional support system. Both cats are thriving indoors and doing beautifully with resident cats and a small white dog. It is the feel-good story of the year.

All cats & kittens are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, and FeLV/FIV tested. The adoption fee for Ernest is $65. As a bonded pair, Ernest & Felix have an adoption fee of $100.
